    I am not dead yet!

It's been a long time... Actually TOO long.
I’m just updating because for the sake of updating
But on the serious note, I should really start getting back in this bloging business. So let’s start off with Gyakuten Saiban, or in the Western cultures “Phoenix Wright”.

Gyakuten Saiban (which literally means "Reversal Trial") first appeared in Japan for the Game Boy Advance. Not much publicity was done for it, but it soon became a underground hit on the internet, and then spread rapidly untill it was almost impossible to buy the game. (I got mine via an internet auction site, and not for cheep too, mind you) (and then a friend of mine LOST IT!! grrrrrrrr)
Since that, the makers have made a 2nd and 3rd one, and remade the 1st one for the Nintendo DS which was translated into english (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney) as well. Oh, and yes the 2nd one is out "Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All".

Now the 4th game is coming out on the 12th, but with a big difference. The main character is not Phoenix Wight anymore! So one would think what is the Western market going to do about the title once it gets translated. However, I’ve just realized that the main title is not “Phoenix Wright” but “Ace Attorney” in the 2nd game, so that might take care of the problem?

Anyway, the 4th game has caused some major havoc already, mostly because of the Special Edition! The official Capcom site had sold all it's copies in about 15 mins! And the same goes to any other place that sells the Special Edition, which means that I haven’t been able to get my hands on one yet

So here I am, trying to get a copy of it from an auction site... I have 3 words for you.

    WISH ME LUCK!!

    Nintendogs

I thought I might not have anything to talk about sooner or later, but just looking at the stuff I own, I realized that I could keep on talking about a new thing for some time.

Anyway, nintendogs is a game for Nintendo DS. And as the name might suggest, it's a game where you take care of a puppy. You feed it, play with it, and take it for a walk. Just talking about it like this dosen't make it stand out or anything, BUT THE PUPPIES ARE SO CUTE!! Such great graphics, one person thought the puppies were real live fotage!
Anyway, I have two dogs at the moment. A Caralier called 'Tama,' and a German Shepherd called 'Rex.' However, I haven't been taking care of them, so I'm worried that they might have ran away...
(In this game, the dogs do not die. Better yet, they don't grow older, so they are puppies all their lives!)

    Everday Stuff

Not much today. I finished watching 'The Count of Monte Cristo' (Not the movie, but the French Series). It was good, but I'll talk about it another time.

Photo of near the place I live. I thought it was a beautiful shade of colour.

    BASARA aka Devil Kings

A GREAT GAME, I'll repeat, A GREAT GAME.

The game play is very similar to Dynasty Warriors, but instead of KOEI, Devil Kings is made by CAPCOM. As I said before, Capcom can go two ways, serious, or crazy. Devil Kings is CRAZY! You watch the opening, and you HAVE to wonder why these people even bother with an army.
Why do I say this? Come on, if two characters could create a NUCLEAR EXPLOSION the least the better.
However, in Japanese this game is called 戦国 BASARA, when the game was adapted into English, the main character has changed. Instead of the two boys, 伊達政宗(Azure Dragon), and 真田幸村 (Scorpio) 織田信長 (Devil King) gets the spot light. Considering how they renamed the game it seems appropriate, but I like the two boys! Besides, they go with CAPCOMs liking of having one RED and one BLUE character! (Dante and Virgil from Devil May Cry 3, Phoenix and Edgeworth from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney)

    Oh Well

    Everday Stuff

The reason I wrote about BASARA was because I finally got 伊達s 6th weapon! One thing I have to say, HOW THE HELL DOES HE HOLD 6 OF THOSE SWORDS?! THEY'RE HUGE!!

    O-kami

O-kami (大神), is a PS2 game that will be coming out next year in Japan.
One thing that's cute about this game, is that the main character you use is a wolf! The title itself sounds like  "Wolf," only that the kanji makes it mean "Big God" (Or something to that extent) (Yes, it is a pun)
What I liked about it, is that the graphics are SO highly stylized!
I always like stylized games. Some of my favourite ones like, Seven: Mallmorse's Cavalry Unit, Moon, and Nanatsu Kaze no Shima Monogatari. (You can see, some of these old games, and not really advailable in US or UK) All of these games are have very cute graphics, but at the same time, the story is very real and dark.
I see to like that gap, where you have cute characters, but has to go through a horrible fate. However, I don't know if O-kami will do the same, for it's made by the people who brought us Viewtiful Joe. In other words, the game company CAPCOM. (They do games like Devil May Cry, and Street Fighter, and Resident Evil) CAPCOM can go two ways, either they make it really serious, or make it just over the top CRAZY. So, even though I'm really looking forward for the game, I don't imagine it's going to have a dark story or anything.
But, it's going to be extremely cute

We did the Exalted game today. So many things were happening so quickly, I was having a hard time trying to keep up.

    TRPG - Exalted

TRPG is an abbreviation "Table-talk Role Playing Game" (I didn't know that) Anyway, For the longest time, I known of its existence, but I never had the oputunity to do it. It's only recently that I've got the chance to do it, and it's quite enjoyable. (Especially if the Game Master 'GM' is a good person)
Anyway, I'm about to join a new game for Exalted. Great name eh?
    EXALTED!
The game where you can be the most awsome character you have ever imagine!
    EXALTED!
The game which anything goes as long as you would like!
    EXALTED!
Now advailable at game stores near you!

Seriously, it's great fun. I've been a fan of console games for a long time, and it's great how you can actually be the character with more flexibility then the one you see on your TV or computer screen. Plus, there are other people too, and you have no idea how they will react to the story. The player could have had a bad day, and the character could sudenly become snappy for no reason.
Anyway, I'm building a new character now. I usually do a female character (for obviouse reasons, but I did do one male character, which was pretty interesting) and I'm doing the same this time. I have done a girl who looks small for her age, a tomboy who can drink sailors under the table, a paraplegic boy who wears a robot suite, and a blond hair woman with a huge debth that she needs to repay. This time, I'm going for a Count of Monte Cristo feeling. No being locked up in a dungon or anything, but revenge on the people who took everything away from her (he he he)
Well, we'll see how it goes.

    Everyday Stuff

I'm doing an early blog today, because I have our performance night for my department (The Center of New Mwdia Arts) tonight (Called "DUST"). So I'll be going to that soon. But before I go, might as well do a little more to my character for Exalted.

This is what my character is going to look like, at the moment.
