2/24/2006 GITS?Here's a dream I had today (or yesterday, if you want to be technical).
First of all, I was in the Ghost in the Shell world! How do I know this? Because one of it's characters, Batou, was with me. Why I'm with him, I have no idea (I guess I'm investigating with him). Anyway, Batou and I are at a train station (or at the platform of a train station) at rush hour, when I see the barrel of a submachine gun inside the crowd!
Right at the moment I instinctively lay flat to the ground, the man starts shooting the crowd with the gun. People screem and duck to the ground, and somehow Batou is out of sight (or more likely, I was too caught up with what was happening and didn't notice). I start to stand up to get away, but then I saw another gunbarrel, and immediately lie down again. Then the second round of shot's go off.
Aperrently the first guy had an accomplice. Now the whole crowd became silent, and the first guy orders all the people to back off. We quickly do so, and back off to the end of the platform. While people scramble off, I try to stay stay at the back of the crowd, and hide behind a pilar.
The first man hands his gun to the second guy, and starts walking towards the crowd. Nobody moves because the other guy is holding the guns towards the crowd. Full of confident, the first guy comes closer and closer to the crowd. At the moment he got close enough, I started towards him!
I knew the other guy had the guns, so to avoid of being shot, I held the first guy between me and the guns. While most of the shots hit the first guy, I got a shot in my left thigh. However, the first guy didn't seems to go down from the shots, so I start to fight him hand-on-hand. (By this time the other guy has stop shooting, so I guess Batou got him)
We struggle for a while, but I got the better position and start beating him up. I kept on doing so until my hand start to bleed (so I guess the guy is a cyborg) and fell unconscious.
I then wake up in a hospital with Batou next to me.
And that's where I ACTUALLY woke up.
People say that you dream of things you think of unconsciously. So... WHAT ON EARTH AM I THINKING OF??!
Everyday StuffWell, some people might have noticed that I changed my photo. So yeah, I changed my hair style! (Call it "Half punk, half conservative") I'm working on the Anime-Juku thingy (and online course for animation) and got a sunburn.
Oh, and apparently Cirque Du Soleil is coming to Australia again!! This time the production is Varekai, one that I havn't seen LIVE before!! GUess who is going to get tickets!!
12/4/2005 The ApartmentThis is a dream I had some time ago, but it has a pretty interesting concept, so I thought I'll share it with everybody.
I'm looking for a place to live, and I befriend this person (by random) and he... I think it was a he, anyway he tells me that the apartment that he lives in has a vacant room. So I go with him and check the place out. The building itself looks pretty old, and not that impressive (although it was quite huge) on the OUTSIDE. The inside though, was SPECTACULAR!
The interior was like... imagine a first class hotel, with stone floors and stuff, THAT'S what the interior looked like. And another thing was that, although the place seemed to be able to fit many rooms, there were only 15 people that lived there. (That's how many rooms there were to live in too) So my new friend shows me his room, which is very spacious and for some reason a very tall ceiling.
Then, he turns on these buttons, and sudenly we are in zero gravity! It turns out that this apartment is also a space ship, which is not uncommon. (At least, not uncommon in my dream) It's for the day when people have to evacuate Earth when the time comes, or something like that. And this apartment was one of the oldest ones made, hence the very classy look. We talk to the landlady, and I get the vacant room. Simple as that, but my friend tells me that I'm lucky, and that the apartment will be in use very soon...
And that's it.
There's nothing about the apartment actually going to space or anything, but I thought it was a great plot line that you can start out with!
Everday StuffYesterday, I went out for dinner at a Indian restaurant, which the reason was that I was officially graduating (YEAH!). Then we went to see Brothers Grimm, which despight it's so-so reviews, I actually quite enjoyed it! We did another Exalted game today, and to our amazement, the game was quite serious... That probably has to do with the Evil ST(tm) giving all the characters certain DOOM. Nasty him... Oh, and I got the final weapon for 信長(Nobunaga) and 佐助(Sasuke) for BASARA!
Draft of the 2nd comic for Exalted 11/26/2005 Running and washingThis is about a strang dream I had.
I was running away from this Si-Fi looking city with a group of people. The reason why I was running is a little unclear now, but it was either because the city was being attacked, or we were bombing the place and had to get out ASAP. So, the group of people (kind of like the mass of people who follower Moses) are running away, and once we got to a forest we started walking. During this time, I remember grabing on to a branch and slowly descended, with others following behind me. In addition, there were my friends and housemates in that group of people.
After a while we stoped to make camp, or we got to our destination, or something. Here, I saw another one of my friends (K.B.), and here's the weird part, she took me to her house (which is kind of thouse hut's that you see in fantasy worlds) and WASHED MY HAIR! I don't remember why it became to that, but I do remember that it was very refreshing. Refreshing to the point, that when I woke up, I felt so dirty...
That's pretty much my dream. If someone could tell me what it means, PLEASE TELL ME!!
Everday StuffIt's not that I didn't have anything to write about, but when I realized it, it was already past 12pm. So that's my reason that I didn't write for 2 days.
Yesterday, I went out to lunch with Wing, and spents most of the day with her. It was great! It's too bad that we never did much of these sort of things, especially when we are the only female International Students left from our course.
Today, there was a HAIL STORM! It was really amaizing, to the point that we had to put down BASARA and watch the weather.
Here are some pics that I took of the storm, but you REALLY need to hear the hail crushing down on the roofs! |
