    ComicStudio

ComicStudio is a program that came with my new Wacom Graphic Tablet.
I've had this program for over a year now, but it's only recently (to be preciseyesterday) that I've actually started to use it. And what do you know, it's really easy to use!! You could start from scratch on the computer, or use scaned in pictures for reference. Plus, you could change the colours of the drawings as well, so when you draw over one layer, you don't get mixed up with other layers!

The version that I got free is called ComicStudio mini 2.0, so I guess it doesn't have all the features, but who cares! My first expirience with Photoshop was a Limited Edition that I got with my first Wacom Graphic Tablet as well, and I still don't know what sort of features were missing from it. (This might have something to do with that I don't use Photoshop to it's fullest potential, but that just means I've never had the need for them)

I got Yukimura's final weapon (BASARA) and I've worked on a comic for Exalted... That's really about it...
Geez, I need to get more action in my life
Well, I am going to have dinner with my friend tomorrow though, so it's all good!!

    A Cat Trial

    Man has car.
    Cat jumps onto car.
    Car has scratches.
    Man gets angry.
    Man sues cat owner.

    Hence A Cat Trial begins.

In America, I woldn't be too suprised if a trial like this happend, but this happened in Japan. I man got sued (let's call him Tarou), or actually first his LATE father got sued because a cat had scratched the procecuter's car and was asking 1,100,000 yen for it.

Problem number one, the cat is not Tarou's. The cat, although not stray, is a lost cat that wanderes around the place and sometimes eats Tarou's actual cat's food. So, although it's not his cat, you can understand why the man might have mistaken it to be Tarou's.
HOWEVER, if something like this happend, you would think that he would have gone to the owner first and tell him about the problem. But NO, the man had to sue him, just like that.

Problem number two, the man owns a hood-less BMW, which he dosen't put in a garage or even covers it. One would think that, IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT! But, some people's minds work differently I guess.

To make a long story short, Tarou wins the trial, mostly because the other man had no proof what-so-ever, and Tarou was too well prepared. GOOD ON YA MATE!

I read this on a blog that Tarou himself made, and although it's only 6 months old, it ranks number 5 for the most read blog! (and there are more then 500,000 different blogs to look through!) Some publishing companies have already asked the permision to make this into a book as well! Seems like there is a trend starting to make books out of internet sites, a famous one called 電車男 Densha Otoko (Train Man) which is from a internet forum, and became a movie as well.
Yes, Japan is an interesting country.

    Everyday Stuff

It took me some time to get through the whole of A Cat Trial, but beside that I've kinda looked into what kind of jobs I could possibly take. It would be great if I could find a job that I could do from home, especially because I'll probably be traveling here and there still...

The first stage to the animation is getting done... I hope I could finish it by the end of this week.

    Relationship Consultation

Don't get me wrong, I DON't do consulting, and I'm not in need of consultation for my relationships! (Not that I have one at the moment)

Anyway, I was browsing along, and found this relationship consultation site (Japanese). Why I even thought of looking at it, was because I thought it was a fortune-telling site.
Yes, I like to look at those sites now and then. They are INTERESTING!
Anyway, I went to the site, and on the top page was a message from a woman seeking advice about her love life. Fair enough. The woman tells her story, saying that boyfriend "A" dosen't have anytime for her, but she dosen't want to just give up on him. She knows this other guy "B," but it's a long distance relationship and nothing is really happening. She asked which one is better to be with, and if she should just look for another guy.
I would say, you could do better, find another guy. But OH NO, the "Teacher" thinks differently.
The "Teacher recons that "A" is better, because he is a dry person that really focuses when he is into something. "B" on the other hand, is serious and passionate, but you will feel a surge of doubt later on.
    Here is my responce.
    WTF?!
How, may I ask, did SHE come up with THAT answer? (I'm assuming the "teacher" is a she) I mean, I read through the girl's story, and there is NO DESCRIPTION of the guy "B" WHATSOEVER!!
Even as a fortune-telling site, the "teacher's" responce is really, how shall I put it, unreasonable. If I have trouble with love relationships, I think I'll stick to actual people, THAT I CAN SEE.

    Everyday Stuff

My classmate and girlfriend came to visit me today (awwwwwww) and I did BASARA. Oh, I also started up my Japanese blog too. (Nothing there yet, I need to customize it as well)

Tonight's dinner, Fireman's Dinner! (I don't know why it's called that, I just got the recipe from my Mom. And she got it from her Mom... Family recipe, YEAH)
